[Wirt's been back in his own body for roughly a day now, but he's spent most of it alternating between sleeping and being absolutely sick to his stomach. He didn't follow Bill the entire time he was inhabiting his body, but from what he's gathered it's been an unfortunate combination of raw meat and foxgloves from the garden taking a toll on him. He hasn't felt good. He never wants to eat again. He's not as nauseous now, but he still wants to just lay in bed and sleep and never face the consequences of what he's done. And that's not even going into the nightmares he's had since then.
Which is why Wirt lets the message go to voicemail, even though he's right there, curled up and staring at his network device like it's going to bite him. He pales when he hears who it is though, curling in on himself and biting his lip. He had no idea Bill even ran into Cami, but there's no question of it with the way she asks. He keeps staring for a moment after the message ends, warring with himself about what to do...but, it would probably be worse to keep worrying her, right? What if she thinks he's still Bill, and that he's like, off eating more raw meat by the handfuls or something.
Making the call is terrible. He makes himself sit up, back against his headboard with his knees pulled up, and he stares at the network device. Waiting for her to pick up (no matter how long it takes) is agonizing.]
